Our Story
The Cape Town TEFL / TESOL Training Institute, operating as TESOLSA, was established in 1991 together with the Cape Town School of English, a DHE accredited EFL school specialising in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Being the first institute of its kind in South Africa, we pride ourselves as the pioneers of TEFL in this beautiful country.
Our certificates are accredited by ITEFLAC (International TEFL Accreditation Council), and have been internationally recognised since our founding in 1991. Our school both receives students from all around the world, and sends new teachers out having been well prepared by being
immersed in an authentic ESL environment during their training. This invaluable symbiosis between EFL school and TEFL training institute has been the cornerstone of our institution and is key in the success of our TEFL teachers over the years.
