TESOL SOUTH AFRICA
The Cape Town TEFL / TESOL Training Institute, operating as TESOLSA, was established in 1991 together with the Cape Town School of English, a DHE accredited EFL school specialising in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
Being the first institute of its kind in South Africa, we pride ourselves as the pioneers of TEFL in this beautiful country.
Our certificates are accredited by ITEFLAC (International TEFL Accreditation Council), and have been internationally recognised since our founding in 1991. Our school both receives students from all around the world, and sends new teachers out having been well prepared by being
immersed in an authentic ESL environment during their training. This invaluable symbiosis between EFL school and TEFL training institute has been the cornerstone of our institution and is key in the success of our TEFL teachers over the years.
I recently completed my Tesol course and wanted to extend my thanks and appreciation. I thoroughly enjoyed both the theoretical classes and the practical sessions and found the whole experience professional and rewarding. I now feel sufficiently equipped to start my new teaching career in Japan, which I found very soon after completing the course. I would wholeheartedly recommend this organisation.
I just want to say that I had such a fantastic experience with TESOLSA on the TEFL course! I will definitely highly recommend your institution to my fellow colleagues and other potential candidates.
'I undertook my Tesol course in August 2016, and I must say I wasn't sure what to expect, but most certainly at the end of it all, I was more than satisfied with the results. I felt the course prepared me well for my teaching job I had lined up in a Chinese University. My TESOL course notes, training booklets and on hand experience have been well and truly recycled throughout my first months on the job, and I'm sure with the concept structures, I will well and truly use for the remainder of my teaching career in China.'
